Volunteerism contributes to a strong community and can enrich the lives of the people around us.  If you know of someone who has made a difference in our neighbourhood through their volunteer efforts, you can nominate them to receive the Ward 16 Volunteer of the Year Award.  Please complete the following nomination form and send it to our office (address is located on the bottom of this form). To be eligible, individuals must live in Ward 16 (b/w Bathurst Street and Yonge Street, from Eglinton Avenue to the 401). The deadline for nominations is May 1st, 2010. The winner will receive a certificate of appreciation and a donation will be made to the charity or organization of their choice.  In addition, he or she will be recognized at a local public reception in the spring.
